This is a short introductory ‘Data Protection and UK GDPR’.
The course aims to develop best practices around the control and processing of personal data.
The learning takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. The course is available for individuals to attend or can be run as a workshop for up to 10 delegates.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand what UK GPDR is.
- Understand what is meant by the term “Personal Data” and “Special Category Data”.
- Understand how to interact with data correctly and in compliance with UK GDPR.
- Understand what constitutes a data breach, understand the severity of them, and know what to do if you suspect or cause a data breach.
- Outline actions to ensure data is secure and protected.
- Understand the risks of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
