An Associate Trainer plays a key role in delivering high-quality training programmes for organisations across the voluntary and private sector. They will collaborate closely with the Training Manager and other team members to design, develop, and facilitate training sessions for individuals and organisations within the third sector. An ideal Associate Trainer will possess a strong understanding of the sector’s challenges, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development: Collaborate with the Training Manager to design and develop training programs that address the specific needs of our target audience within the third sector.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and webinars both in-person and virtually.
- Content Expertise: Stay current with trends, best practices, and emerging issues within the third sector to ensure training content remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Participant Engagement: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge retention.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Collect and analyse participant feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
- Resource Development: Develop training materials, resources, and handouts to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure training programmes align with organisational goals and objectives.
- Networking: Build and maintain relationships with professionals and organisations in the third sector to stay connected with industry trends and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Have a teaching/training qualification. Minimum L3 Award in Education and Training.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and development
- Strong knowledge of third sector issues, challenges, and best practices.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to adapt training content for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
