This is a short introductory course on ‘Safeguarding’.

The course aims to develop skills and knowledge of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

The learning takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.  The course is available for individuals to attend or can be run as a workshop for up to 10 delegates.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will:

• Understand what the terms Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion mean.
• Recognise the differences between Stereotypes, Prejudice, and Discrimination.
• Understand Unconscious Bias and its impact.
• Understand the term ‘Banter’ and its impact.
• Identify ways to promote EDI in the workplace.
